Russian Railways notes heightened demand for Russian lumber in Central Asia

MOSCOW. July 11 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Railways (RZD) has noted heightened demand for Russian lumber in Central Asia.

As a result, shipments of timber cargo on the Krasnoyarsk Railway, for example, totaled 1.6 million tonnes in H1 2013, on par with shipments during the same six months of 2012, the railway reported.
