Ivanishvili to visit Lithuania, Poland
TBILISI. July 15 (Interfax) - Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will visit Lithuania and Poland on July 18-19, Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani told a press briefing on Monday.
Ivanishvili will discuss current political affairs, preparations for the Vilnius summit and bilateral cooperation with Lithuanian and Polish colleagues, he said.
"As you know, Lithuania is chairing the European Union. This invitation is very important to us. The prime minister will speak about domestic political issues and our preparations for the Vilnius summit," Zalkaliani said.
"Ivanishvili will meet with the Lithuanian president, prime minister and parliament speaker and address the European Club in Lithuania. After having visited Lithuania, the prime minister will go to Poland and meet with his Polish colleagues. The sides will discuss every important aspect of bilateral relations," the Georgian diplomat said.
