RusHydro chief again chairs ES of Russia board

VLADIVOSTOK. July 17 (Interfax) - Yevgeny Dod, the chief executive of RusHydro , has been re-elected as chairman of the board of directors at Energy System of East (ES of East).

Yanina Stanyulenaite, deputy corporate relations manager, was elected as deputy chair, ES of East said in a statement.

The shareholders elected a board of nine directors at their AGM in June. Six of them represent RusHydro - Yevgeny Dod, Yanina Stanyulenaite, economics director Sergei Kirov, director for strategic deals and capital markets Ivan Savelyev, and director for internal control and risk management Irina Posevina and procurement director Sergei Yanson.

The other board members are ES Vostok's general director Sergei Tolstoguzov, Sergei Fil, representing Gazprom Energoholding, and Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of the Amur region.

ES of East, founded in July 2008 as a result of the restructuring of former electricity monopoly Unified Energy System, manages power companies in Russia's Far East with installed capacity of 9,087 MW and 17,892 Gcal/h, and more than 102,000 km of power grids. The holding company includes Far East Distribution Company, Far East Generating Company , Far East Energy Company , Yakutskenergo , Magadanenergo , Kamchatskenergo , Sakhalinenergo , Peredvizhnaya Energetika and a number of noncore companies.

RusHydro owns 65.75% of ES of East, Gazprom Energoholding owns 9.95%, Energyo Solutions Russia (a division of investment fund EOS Russia) holds 5.11%, Atonline Ltd holds 4.03% and the Russian Federation owns 3.28%.
