Nissan plant in Russia boosts 2012 earnings 10%

ST. PETERSBURG. July 17 (Interfax) - The Nissan Manufacturing Rus factory in St Petersburg boosted net profit to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) 10.2% in 2012 to 3.947 billion rubles, according to the SPARK-Interfax database.

Sales revenue grew 50% to 142.57 billion rubles.

The plant opened at the beginning of June 2009 and produces the Teana, X-Trail and Murano. It launched SKD assembly of the Infiniti FX and Infiniti M in April last year.
