Gazprom extends maturity period on 28 exchange bond issues

MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - The board of directors at Russian gas giant Gazprom decided during a July 17 meeting to increase the circulation periods for the company's exchange bond series BO-01 through BO-28, a company statement says.

The period for BO-01-BO-18 bonds is increased from three to fifteen years and the period for BO-19-BO-28 bonds from three to thirty years.

On August 10, 2011, the MICEX Stock Exchange admitted the twenty-eight bond issues to trading in the process of placement, assigning them registration numbers 4B02-01-00028-A to 4B02-28-00028-A.

Issues one through six are of 5 billion rubles each, seven through eighteen - 10 billion each, and nineteen through twenty-eight - 15 billion rubles each. All the bonds have face value of one thousand rubles.

At the present time, Gazprom has a ninth series maturing February 12 next year and an eleventh series maturing June 24 next year - both of 5 billion rubles - in circulation.
