Russia plans lowering export duties on some kinds of fish Sept 1

MOSCOW. July 19 (Interfax) - In connection with its obligations as a World Trade Organization member, Russia plans to lower the export duties on several kinds of fish and other bioresources, as well as on animal hides, as of September 1 this year.

A draft governmental resolution says that the duty rates on several kinds of Pacific salmon, halibut, tilapia, sheat-fish, carp, flounder, and horse mackerel, among others, will drop from today's 5% to 3.75%.
