Russian govt to present economic development plans in Sochi in Sept - press attache

MOSCOW. July 22 (Interfax) - The Russian government will present economic development plans at the Sochi International Investment Forum to be held on September 26-29, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's spokeswoman Natalya Timakova.

"An announcement of the plan for Russia's further economic development will be the main issue," she told reporters on Monday.

The forum has the following theme: "Economic Development and Quality of Life: Challenges and Prospects," she also said.

"Medvedev will meet with businessmen and governors, and attend the plenary meeting and roundtable conferences which will focus on the investment climate, state-private partnership and regional development," Timakova said.

The forum will be attended by almost all deputy prime ministers and ministers. Representatives of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and of Delovaya Rossiya and Opora Rossii public organizations will be present, too, she said.
