Presidential Human Rights Council to evaluate Navalny's Kirovles case
MOSCOW. July 25 (Interfax) - The Presidential Council on Human Rights will evaluate the Kirovles embezzlement case of opposition activist Alexei Navalny. The Council made a similar appraisal of the Yukos case.
"The Council decided by the majority of votes to organize a public evaluation of the sentence passed on Alexei Navalny and Pyotr Ofitserov," says a report posted on the Presidential Council website.
It noted that experts would start drafting their reports after the sentence came into effect.
