Over 2,300 illegal immigrants deported from Moscow in 2013 - Federal Bailiff Service

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Most of the illegal immigrants deported from Moscow in the first half of this year were citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, the Federal Bailiff Service's city department reported.

"Bailiffs of the administrative deportation department of the Moscow city department of the Federal Bailiff Service have brought almost 2,000 persons from district courts to the detention center for foreign citizens since January 2013," says the department report obtained by Interfax on Monday.

A total of 2,354 foreign citizens, the majority of them from the CIS republics of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, were deported from Russia during that period, the department said.
