Buying five airport fuelling facilities from Basel cost Rosneft 6 bln rubles
MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - The purchase of fuelling facilities at the Krasnodar, Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Abakan airports from Basic Element (Basel) cost Rosneft 6 billion roubles, the state oil major reported in its financial statement.
Following this deal, which took place in May 2013, Rosneft became the sole owner of the operator of the fuelling facilities, Basic Aircraft Fuel Operator (BATO), and the strategic partner of BaselAero, the company that manages the airports, providing fuel at key airports in southern Russia that will provide services for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
