Top sanitary doctor concerned about quality of U.S. cigarettes produced in Russia

MOSCOW. July 31 (Interfax) - Russia's senior state sanitary doctor Gennady Onishchenko has concerns about the quality of tobacco products made at U.S. company factories in Russia.

"The American cigarettes that are produced in Russia and in the USA are quite different in quality. We have a cheap imitation, although it goes under the brand of that firm. We have created a preserve for the lawlessness of trans-national tobacco companies," Onishchenko told the press.
