Putin finds unacceptable speed of crime resistance efforts at marketplaces
NOVO-OGARYOVO. July 31 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin has criticized the actions of law enforcement bodies, in particular the Interior Ministry internal security service, during the incident at a Moscow marketplace last Saturday.
"The efforts made are clearly insufficient - either nothing is happening or at a speed that is unacceptable, too slow," he said.
Putin convened a special conference on fighting crime at major shopping outlets.
