Invitation to be sent out to Snowden's father shortly - Kucherena

MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - An official invitation will soon be sent to Lon Snowden, the former CIA intelligence leaker Edward Snowden's father, to come to Moscow, Edward Snowden's defense attorney Anatoly Kucherena told Interfax on Friday.

"We have prepared almost all of the documents. Invitations are to be sent to Lon Snowden and his defense attorney on my behalf to come to Moscow," Kucherena said.

The invitations will be handed over through the Russian embassy in Washington, he said.
