Ukraine posts July deflation of 0.1%, 7M inflation of 0.1%

KYIV. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Consumer prices in Ukraine went down 0.1% last month but were up 0.1% since the start of this year, the State Statistics Service said on Tuesday.

July prices held steady year-on-year.

Industrial producer prices decreased 2.9% in July but rose 0.7% over the seven-month period.

Ukraine had inflation of 0.2% in 2012, 4.6% in 2011, and 9.1% in 2010.

The country's government forecasts 2013 inflation of 4.8%-6.1%.
