An-24 makes emergency landing in new part of Moscow - police
MOSCOW. Aug 7 (Interfax) - An Antonov An-24 passenger plane has made an emergency landing in the so-called new part of Moscow, the city police department told Interfax.
"Preliminary information indicates that an An-24 has made an emergency landing in the area of the community of Astafyevo," a police spokesperson said.
The An-24 is a medium-range twin-turboprop passenger and transport plane, which can carry up to 50 passengers, and its crew includes from three to five people.
