Kremlin: U.S. not prepared for equal relations with Russia

MOSCOW. Aug 7 (Interfax) - The cancellation of the Moscow visit of U.S. President Barack Obama shows that the United States is not prepared for equal relations, the Kremlin said.

"This problem testifies to the remaining unpreparedness of the United States to build an equal relationship," Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said.

"The Americans have been evading for many years the conclusion of a bilateral extradition agreement," the Kremlin representative said.

"The United States invariably refused to extradite the perpetrators of crimes on Russian territory under the pretext of the absence of this accord," Ushakov said.
