EU reiterates it won't accept any discriminatory laws
BRUSSELS. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Legislation in the European Union or anywhere else in the world that may limit the rights of any social group, will inevitably make EU authorities anxious, according to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton's spokesman, Michael Mann.
Mann made the statement at a briefing in Brussels on Monday when asked to comment on the Russian law banning propaganda concerning homosexuality. He said, however, that any documents on this Russian law were currently not in his possession.
