Nearly 300 illegal migrant workers detained in Odintsovo district near Moscow

MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - Nearly 300 foreign citizens were detained in the Moscow region on Tuesday on suspicion of breaking immigration laws, the Federal Migration Service told Interfax.

"The legality of their presence in Russia is being verified. Deportation orders have been issued for 35 foreigners," a service spokesman said.

In his words, the illegal migrants doing construction and finishing work were detained in a new neighborhood of the Odintsovo district in the Moscow region.
