Georgia, Israel sign agreement on cooperation in security field

TBILISI. Aug 15 (Interfax) - Georgian Interior Minister Irakly Garibashvili held negotiations with Israeli Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch to discuss cooperation, the Georgian Interior Ministry reported on Thursday.

Following the talks, Garibashvili and Aharonovitch signed a joint statement on cooperation in maintaining public security and combating crime.
