Primorsk port ships 4.3 mln tonnes of fuel in H1 from Sever product pipeline
MOSCOW. Aug 19 (Interfax) - The port of Primorsk in Leningrad region shipped 4.3 million tonnes of fuel delivered on the Sever [North] product pipeline in the first half of 2013, Transnefteprodukt President Vladimir Shimanovich said in an interview with the in-house magazine Pipeline Transport of Oil [Truboprovodny Transport Nefti].
Overall shipments at the port amounted to 15.9 million tonnes in the six months, almost 2 million tonnes more than in the same period last year.
Transnefteprodukt shipped 29.4 million tonnes of refined oil products through its pipeline system in 2012, including 9 million tonnes delivered to the domestic market. The light oil products terminal at Primorsk accounted for over one-third (6.5 million tonnes) of the fuel exports.
The company plans to perform diagnostics on 2,600 kilometers of pipeline and rebuild 13 reservoirs with over 110,000 cubic meters of capacity.
