Putin proposes Yevkurov, Yevloyev, Tatriyev as candidates for Ingushetia head to republic's parliament
MOSCOW. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted three candidates for the post of Ingushetia's head for the republic's parliament to consider, Putin's press office said on Monday.
The candidates are acting Ingushetia head Yunus-Bek Yevkurov; Chairman of the Council of the Just Russia party's regional branch, deputy of the municipal education council City District of Nazran Uruskhan Yevloyev and Ingush Parliament deputy chairman Magomed Tatriyev.
It has been reported that the United Russia party nominated Yevkurov and Tatriyev, the Russian Communist Party, A Just Russia and Right Cause nominated Yevkurov. A Just Russia also nominated Yevloyev.
On May 8, deputies of the People's Assembly of Ingushetia passed amendments to a bill on electing the republic's head, according to which the head is to be elected by the Ingush parliament.
