Kazakhstan will not restrict imports of Ukrainian confectionery producer Roshen
ALMATY. Aug 23 (Interfax) - The Kazakh Health Ministry's sanitary-epidemiological oversight committee did not find any quality flaws in the output of the Ukrainian confectionery manufacturer Roshen, Nurken Sadvakasov, a deputy chief of the committee, told Interfax.
"The examination of candies produced by the confectionery corporation Roshen has been concluded," Sadvakasov said. "The samples that have been tested have proven to meet the established hygienic standards. No benzopyrene has been revealed. Given that no products not meeting hygienic standards were discovered, there are no grounds to impose any measures restricting imports of Roshen products to Kazakhstan's territory," Sadvakasov said.
