Secretary of Ingushetia Security Council injured - Interior Ministry
NAZRAN. Aug 27 (Interfax) -Akhmet Kotiyev, secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia in Russia's North Caucasus, was injured when his car came under fire on a highway in the republic's Malgobek district, an Ingush Interior Ministry spokesman told Interfax on Tuesday.
"Unknown gunmen opened automatic rifle fire on Kotiyev's car near the village of Achaluki at around 7:30 a.m. Moscow time. Kotiyev sustained an injury during the attack and was rushed to the hospital. His driver died on the spot," the spokesman said.
