Syria situation helps understand sovereign states' wish to increase their defense potential - Russian deputy PM

MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Preparations for a possible military operation against Syria justify sovereign states' plans to enhance their defense capabilities, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.

"As you see the Anglo-Saxons rattle their weapons near the Syrian borders, sovereign states' wish to boost their defense potential becomes understandable," Rogozin said on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
