ZHUKOVSKY, Near Moscow. Aug 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Up to six launches will be carried out from the Kourou launch pad in French Guiana with Soyuz carrier rockets in 2013-2014, head of the French space agency CENES Jean-Yves le Galle told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday at the MAKS-2013 air show.

"One launch was carried out this year with four O3b communications satellites. We have yet to carry out two launches and we will launch four more satellites of the O3b type on September 30," he said.

The final launch has been set for November 20. It will be the European Space Agency's Gaia satellite, he added.

"The schedule for the next year has three or four launches. It has yet to be adjusted. These launches will deliver satellites of the European navigation system Galileo into orbit, he said.
