E.ON board approves agreement with Novatek on gas supplies for Surgut-2 power plant
MOSCOW. Aug 30 (Interfax) - The board of directors of E.ON Russia has approved a supplementary agreement with Novatek on delivery of additional volumes of natural gas to the Surgut-2 district power station (Surgut GRES-2), E.ON Russia said in a statement.
The new agreement covers deliveries in the 2014-2027 period.
E.ON Russia did not disclose the delivery volumes.
Surgut GRES-2 was the largest heat and electric plant in Russia by output volume in 2012, when it consumed 10 billion cubic meters of gas.
