Yanukovych calls for observance of law concerning Tymoshenko treatment abroad

KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has reiterated that the law needs to be observed concerning the possibility of Ukraine's former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko receiving treatment abroad.

"No one is taking this issue off the agenda. It exists, but the issue can only be approached in accordance with current legislation," Yanukovych said in an interview aired on 1+1 television on Friday, responding to a question about the prospects for Tymoshenko's treatment abroad.
