Russian domestic securities debt rises to 4.12 trln rubles in August
MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - Russia's domestic state debt with securities increased by 38.2 billion rubles in August, or by 0.9%, to 4.117 trillion rubles from 4.079 trillion rubles over the month.
Russian domestic debt with state securities declined month-on-month to month by 180.4 billion rubles in the first quarter, from 4.064 trillion rubles on the first of the year to 3.884 trillion rubles.
In April-August, it increased by 233.3 billion rubles, which offset the decrease in the first quarter.
Debt volume on September 1 was 52.8 billion rubles, or 1.3%, more than at the beginning of the year.
In January-August, the issue of state securities exceeded the repayment of debt principal, and net proceeds were positive at 53.3 billion rubles, but less 201 billion rubles spent on servicing debt, net proceeds for the budget for the period amounted to minus 147.7 billion rubles.
State debt increased by 517.9 billion rubles, or 14.6%, from 3.546 trillion rubles in 2012.
