STRELNA. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The leaders of the BRICS countries said at a meeting before the G20 summit in St. Petersburg that outside interference in the situation in Syria is a factor negatively impacting the global economy.

"It was said during BRICS dialogue that the consequences of eventual outside interference in the Syrian affairs may undoubtedly be among the factors that may negatively impact global economy," Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov told a briefing at the summit.
