Gazprom to commission first 130 km of gas pipeline in Perm territory
PERM. Sept 6 (Interfax) - Gazprom plans to commission the first 130 kilometers of the Chusovoi-Berezniki-Solikamsk (ChBS) gas pipeline spur before year-end, governor's office in Perm territory reported, citing Gazprom Invest Yug's chief for the Chusovoi division Andrei Chashchin.
The 130-kilometer segment will provide a route to supply gas to OJSC Metafrax .
Gazprom plans to build two lines of the pipeline - ChBS-1 and ChBS-2. Construction of the first 47 kilometers of ChBS-2 has been completed and all of the pipe needed for the Kilometer 47-Km 93 segment has been laid. The route is being cleared for the Km 131-Km 180 segment.
Construction of ChBS-1 is scheduled to begin this fall.
