Bomb threat at elections commission in Moscow region proves false
MOSCOW. Sept 8 (Interfax) - Evacuation of a territorial elections commission in Losino-Petrovsky, Moscow region, is over. No bomb has been found, Moscow regional elections commission chairman Irek Vildanov told reporters on Sunday.
"There were two anonymous telephone calls alleging bombs on the premises of the administrations of Monino and Losino-Petrovsky. We had to evacuate the territorial elections commission in Losino-Petrovsky," Vildanov said.
The police examined the building and did not find any bombs inside, he added.
"The territorial elections commission is back to work. The police are searching for the hooligans," the Moscow regional elections commission chairman said.
