Premature to speculate on reasons behind Russian diplomat's killing in Abkhazia - ambassador

MOSCOW/SUKHUMI. Sept 9 (Interfax) - It would be premature to speculate on theories about Russian diplomat Dmitry Vishernev's murder in Sukhumi, said Russian Ambassador to Abkhazia Sergei Grigoryev.

"It would be premature to speculate on the reasons behind this murder. The Russian diplomat was killed about three hours ago. An investigation has been started," he told Interfax by telephone from Sukhumi on Monday.
