Russian MinFin adjusts H1 budget surplus to 368 bln rubles, 1.2% of GDP

MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Finance Ministry has adjusted the budget surplus for the first half of 2013 to 367.9 billion from a previous 306.88 billion rubles, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said at a Cabinet meeting.

"The current federal budget surplus is 367.9 billion rubles or 1.2% of GDP," Siluanov said.

Budget revenue was 6.258 trillion rubles or 20% of the preliminary 2013 GDP estimate of 31 trillion rubles, and spending was 5.79 trillion rubles or 18.9%.
