Putin orders Foreign Ministry to sign border treaty with South Ossetia

MOSCOW. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Foreign Ministry to sign a state border treaty with South Ossetia, says a report posted on the legal data portal on Thursday.

"To instruct the Russian Foreign Ministry to hold negotiations with South Ossetia and upon the achievement of accord to sign the treaty on behalf of the Russian Federation with the right to make unessential amendments to the draft approved by the Russian government," the directive runs.
