Lavrov, Kerry discuss Syria in Geneva

GENEVA. Sept 12 (Interfax) - A meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has begun in Geneva.

The meeting is taking place in a fashionable hotel in Geneva, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

Lavrov earlier said the meeting would address the initiative to put Syria's chemical weapons under international control and the meeting will involve Russian and U.S. experts on chemical weapons.
