Georgian Foreign Ministry sends protest note to Russia through Swiss embassy
TBILISI. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The Georgian Foreign Ministry has passed a protest note to Russia through the Swiss embassy over reports that Russia plans to sign a treaty on the state border with South Ossetia.
"The document on the so-called state border between Russia and South Ossetia is a violation of international law and it has no legal force," Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani told reporters on Friday.
