Regulator gives ISR Trans permission to buy Kurgannefteprodukt
MOSCOW. Sept 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has approved a request from ISR Trans, which is part of Iskander Khalilov's ISR group, to acquire LLC Kurgannefteprodukt, the regulator said in a report published on its website Friday.
The regulator made its decision on August 30, on the same day as the auction offering 100% of the limited liability company.
ISR Trans bought Kurgannefteprodukt for 1.6 billion rubles on August 30 at the Russian Auction House.
The auction house said Kurgannefteprodukt held immovable and movable assets within a fuel oil loading terminal through wholly owned subsidiary LLC Taganrog Fuel Oil Terminal in Rostov region.
The terminal, which has the capacity to process 2 million tonnes of petroleum products per year, was launche din 2006.
LLC Kurgannefteprodukt is an operating company in southern Russia. It handles goods, wholesale fuel trade, grain, feed and agriculture goods. Its main activity is the transshipment of M-100 fuel oil.
ISR Trans was established on December 25 1997. It specializes in providing oil freight forwarding services by rail. It transports more than 18 million tonnes of oil cargoes annually. The company operates over 22,600 tankers cars.
The ISR Trans fleet includes over 10,000 tankers for oil cargoes and 1,600 tankers for liquefied petroleum gas.
