Parov Stelar to perform in Russia in October
MOSCOW. Sept 16 (Interfax) - Austrian musician Parov Stelar and his band will give two concerts in Russia - one at Moscow's Arena Moscow Club on October 11 and the other at St. Petersburg's Club A2 on October 12, the organizers told the press. His retro-influenced music is borne out of an aura of elegance, wickedness and pure energy, inspired by styles and samples from a wide variety of genres (soul, pop, jazz and swing) and combined with modern beats and grooves, they said in a statement.
"The performances of the Parov Stelar band are among the most impressive live conversions of electronic music currently to be seen anywhere in the world. Brass and rhythm sections along with singer Cleo Panther reinvent Parov Stelar's electro beats, emotionally charging the public in a way never thought possible," the statement says.
Marcus Fureder (born November 27, 1974), better known by his stage name Parov Stelar is an Austrian musician. Through his music the modest but exceptional talent has not only gained an enormous fan base, but has also achieved cult status as a producer.
"His retro-influenced music is borne out of an aura of elegance, wickedness and pure energy. inspired by styles and samples from the most varying of genres (soul, pop, jazz and swing). Combined with modern beats and grooves he creates an incomparable and peerless sound," the organizers said.
