Head of RAO ES of East joins RusHydro management board.

MOSCOW. Sept 17 (Interfax) - The board of directors at OJSC RusHydro , which operates the majority of Russia's hydroelectric power plants, has elected the general director of OJSC RAO Energy Systems of East, Sergei Tolstoguzov, to the RusHydro management board.

A RusHydro statement says the directors also approving Tolstoguzov simultaneously holding the posts of general director, management board member, RAO ES of East board of directors member, and member of the NTS UES supervisory board.

He will be responsible for overseeing the building of four power plants in the Far East being carried out with 50 billion rubles in federal budget funding.

The board of directors also dismissed management board member Alexei Maslov, who since 2010 had been deputy board chief and oversaw capital construction. He will remain an advisor to management on issues of the company's strategic development, RusHydro told Interfax.
