Incomes in Russia rise 2.1% in Aug - Rosstat

MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Real disposable incomes in Russia grew 2.1% in August after rising 4.2% in July compared with the same month last year, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.

Incomes grew 2.3% in July and fell 1.1% in May and, according to adjusted data, grew 7.6% in April, 10% in March, 6.7% in February and 0.7% in January.

Real incomes grew 4.1% year-on-year in January-August. They rose 3.5% in January-August last year and 4.4% in 2012 as a whole.

Nominal incomes in August 2013 averaged at 29,020 rubles, up 12.8% from August 2012.

Real incomes adjusted for inflation rose 5.9% in annual terms in August.
