No plans yet for Common Economic Space currency - NBB chief
MINSK. Sept 18 (Interfax) - There are no plans right now for a unified currency for members of the Common Economic Space, National Bank of Belarus Chairman Nadezhda Yermakova said in an online conference Wednesday.
"It is not planned for now. We met recently - the three central banks - we talked about this because this question does come up. It is too early to talk about it [a unified currency]," she said.
This is, however, something that could happen in the future, she added.
