Inter RAO buys another 24.9% of Tomsk electricity sales co
MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - Inter RAO UES has acquired another 24.9% of the shares in Tomsk energy sales company Tomskenergosbyt .
Inter RAO said it had raised its stake in the company from 18.2% issued shares (21.04% ordinary shares) to 43.2% (49.7%) on August 20.
The company now owns 1.9 billion ordinary shares - 803.6 million of them directly and 1.095 billion via Inter RAO Capital.
Inter RAO will look into the feasibility of increasing its stake further.
Tomsk Energy Retail Company was set up April 1, 2005 during the reformation of OJSC Tomskenergo. The company is a guaranteed supplier in Tomsk Region. It has 3.82 billion issued ordinary shares and 576.7 million preferred shares.
