Not even with VNKhK, add'l delivery to China will there be oil shortage - Rosneft

MOSCOW. Sept 24 (Interfax) - Rosneft is certain about its resource base and rules out any cut-back in oil deliveries even with the building of Eastern Petrochemical Complex (VNKhK) and additional oil being delivered to China, the company press service said.

"Any deficit is ruled out. The company has firmed-up its production plan for oil extraction until 2033. The document envisions growth of oil extraction for the entire period with the commissioning and development of new deposits in Eastern Siberia and Yamal. Also, this production balance involves the full provision of deliveries in both the Eastern and Western directions, taking into account the realization of the VNKhK project and increased oil deliveries to China, a company representative told Interfax.

Earlier, Russian oil pipeline company OJSC Transneft said that there could be a shortage of Rosneft oil for the Eastern route of 15.9 million tonnes by 2020, considering the VNKhK project.
