UN SC working on Syrian chemical weapons resolution - source

NEW YORK. Sept 24 (Interfax) - The United Nations Security Council has been working on a new resolution on chemical weapons in Syria, a diplomatic source in New York told Interfax.

"The UN SC is currently working on a resolution, but the decisions concerning Syrian chemical weapons will be observed: a decision by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons should come first," the source said.

However, "the OPCW will make a decision when everything is clear with the content of the UN SC resolution," he said.
