Russia to contribute $873,000 to UN FAO in 2013-2014
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - In 2013-2014, Russia will be putting up to $873,000 into the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for the financing of a G20 initiative for a system for providing agricultural product markets with information, as per a governmental resolution signed September 24.
Russia will contribute $434,000 this year and $439,000 next year.
The government has tasked the Foreign Ministry with informing the FAO of the decision and coordinating the conditions and rules for making the contributions.
