State cos not planning to buy into Uralkali - Shuvalov
SOCHI. Sept 27 (Interfax) - First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov has described as mere rumor reports that some state company might buy into the capital of Uralkali , the main owner of which, Suleyman Kerimov, has been unofficially reported to have put his stake up for sale.
"There is no talk about some state company. These are rumors," Shuvalov told the press on the sidelines of an investment forum in Sochi.
In addition to a number of major private investors, Rosneft and Rosneftegaz were also said to be interested in Uralkali. Rosneft President Igor Sechin and the chairman of the Rosneftegaz board of directors have denied it.
