Russneft unit launches two high-flow wells at Roslavlskoye field

KHANTY MANSIYSK. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Aganneftegazgeologia , a subsidiary of Russian oil company Russneft in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous District, has launched two new high-flow oil wells at the Roslavlskoye field, the company said in a statement.

The wells at well pad No. 19, with horizontal shafts of 383 meters and 517 meters, have a flow rate of respectively 730 tonnes and 745 tonnes per day.

The launch of the new wells will enable the company to "establish a steady trend for growth of production figures and ensure the fulfillment of the company's annual business plan for production of hydrocarbons," the statement said.

Aganneftegazgeologia holds licenses to develop three blocks in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous District: Zapadno-Mogutlorsky (Zapadno-Mogutlorskoye, Mogutlorskoye, Vat-Yeganskoye, Severo-Pokachevskoye and Zhilinskoye fields), Roslavlsky (Roslavlskoye field) and Chukhlorsky (Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye and Chukhlorskoye fields).
