SOCAR exports 4.5% less oil through Supsa port in 9M
BAKU. Oct 2 (Interfax) - State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) exported 2,079,973 tonnes of Azerbaijani oil from the port of Supsa in Q1-Q3 2013, which was 4.5% less year-on-year, SOCAR told Interfax.
The company shipped 242,215 tonnes of Azerbaijani oil from Supsa last month alone.
The Baku-Supsa pipeline, capacity 7.5 million tonnes per year, was built to transport oil for the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) project and was commissioned in April 1999. It is 837 km long and 530 mm in diameter.
