Russian domestic securities debt rises 1.4% to 4.18 trln rubles in September

MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Russia's domestic state debt with securities increased by 58.9 billion rubles in September, or by 1.4%, to 4.176 trillion rubles from 4.117 trillion rubles at the end of August, the Finance Ministry reported.

In the first quarter, Russian domestic debt declined each month or by a total of 180.4 billion rubles to 3.884 trillion rubles from 4.064 trillion rubles at the beginning of the year.

In April-September, it increased by 292 billion rubles or 7.5%, offsetting the decrease in the first quarter.

The debt as of October 1 was higher than at the beginning of the year by 111.7 billion rubles or 2.7%.

In 2012, the internal debt increased by 517.9 billion rubles, or 14.6%, from 3.546 trillion rubles at the beginning of the year.
