Churov to go to Azerbaijan to observe presidential elections
MOSCOW. Oct 7 (Interfax) - Russian Central Elections Commission Chairman Vladimir Churov will take part in international observation of the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
"Vladimir Yevgenyevich [Churov] will go to these elections. He will be an observer on election day," Central Elections Commission official Yelena Dubrovina, who is in charge of international observation issues in the Central Elections Commission, told Interfax on Monday.
Dubrovina said some Central Elections Commission officials are already in Azerbaijan.
The presidential elections are scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan on October 9.
